Impact

Research making an impact

Strongly focused on the practical applicability of our work, we conduct research and provide advise on key challenges faced in today's knowledge society. Innovation in and through university-industry relationships has been recognised by governments (incl. the European Commission), academics and business professionals alike as a key driver of future growth and competitiveness. All our activities are dedicated to support organisation to better manage these relationships and exploit the true value of their key resources and linkages. Thereby, we generate and provide latest knowledge, and develop practical recommendation and especially tools which can directly be applied - making a direct impact on all stakeholder involved in Science-to-Business activities.

Events driving the field

Being at the centre of our field and working closely with our partner organisations worldwide we are aware of the tremendous amount of knowledge, competences, experiences and tools already existing worldwide. Therefore, we foster the exchange of all stakeholders by hosting events where knowledge can be shared and discussed, leading to a higher learning curve and a faster development of the field.

Educating people

Besides a focus on driving the field of Science-to-Business Marketing and related topics, the centre has a strong commitment to support the (further) education of individuals at various stages of their development. Internally, this includes research associates on their path to a PhD, but also graduate and undergraduate students which are involved in real life projects as part of their international study project, internship or job as a student helper. Externally, this means that we do not just conduct research projects and present findings, but at the same time develop the skills our partners and clients need supporting them to address current and future challenges related to the project. In addition to the education of its employees, the centre provides workshops and training for a wide range of stakeholders, making them more successful in Science-to-Business Marketing and University-Business Cooperation.
