5th joint PhD Workshop of the S2BMRC and VU Vrije UniversiteitOctober 07, 2015 |
The 5th joint PhD Workshop of the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Center S2BMRC together with VU Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam took place in Amsterdam. 14 PhD candidates from Münster (Sue Rossano, Mihai Melonari, David Serbin - all S2BMRC - and Andreas Pumpe, IPL) and Amsterdam coming from 10 different nationalities presented their actual work and got feedback from mates and faculty (prof. Thomas Baaken from FH Münster, prof. Peter van der Sijde and Assoc. prof. Ingrid Wakkee both from VU). Associated Professor Ingrid Wakkee of the department of Organization Sciences from VU drilled deep into qualitative research and presented and discussed how to conceptualise a qualitative research design and how to write publishable papers. The next joined PhD workshop will take place in Münster again in Winter 2015/16 and will deal with Writing a research concept for an ambitious but feasible PhD.
