S2BMRC at Think Tank Event on “Transformational Entrepreneurship”

Prof. Thomas Baaken and Mihaela Simeonova from S2BMRC contributed substantially to the major two days Think Tank Event on “Transformational Entrepreneurship” of Coventry University (CU) in the UK.

Under the Leadership of Prof. Gideon Maas (Director of the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship and President of the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship) and Prof. Paul Jones (Deputy Director of the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship and Professor of Entrepreneurship) the Think Tank was well managed achieved substantial progress and outcomes.

Mihaela Simeonova on “Successful Teaching & Learning Formats to develop Entrepreneurship of Students”; both presentation have been well received and were taken as reference points in later discussions.

More than 50 delegates from 15 different countries attended, presented and discussed the topic of Social Entrepreneurship and Transformational Entrepreneurship. It was found, that transformational Entrepreneurship will have a major impact on the development and wealth of societies. It was also found that this impact.



Discussions between the participants during the Think Tank Event


The participants discussed:

• Community based models
• New Business Models in Social Entrepreneurship and Transformational Entrepreneurship
• Nudging in Social Entrepreneurship and Transformational Entrepreneurship
• Case Studies in Social Entrepreneurship and Transformational Entrepreneurship
• Ecosystem in Transformational Entrepreneurship

The event closed by reading up a final statement of the Think Tank on Transformational Entrepreneurship, which will be published soon on the related web site.

All attendees are looking forward to closely working together during the upcoming year, until the next Think Tank on Transformational Entrepreneurship is scheduled.
