Natalie Ford, Deputy Director Research and Innovation Services of the University of South Australia visited the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre in Münster

Natalie Ford, Deputy Director Research and Innovation Services of the University of South Australia visited the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre in Münster to meet with Professor Thomas Baaken and Doctor Carolin Plewa. Dr. Plewa actually is a visiting fellow at Münster University of Applied Sciences from Jan 2013 till Sep 2013 coming from The University of Adelaide, where Professor Baaken holds an adjunct Position since 2008.

Natalie Forde worked in the „Technology Commercialisation Group“ and after a take over by Delloitte Australia, she was established as the Director of the Deloitte "Research Commercialisation" unit. Afterwards Natalie was moving to Flinders University at Adelaide managing a „Cooperative Research Centre“ and a „Regional Economic Development Unit“.

Facing new challenges the University of South Australia convinced her to step into the role as „Deputy Director - Research and Innovation Services“ covering the areas business engagement, entrepreneurship, interdisciplary research structures and regional development. South Australia has defined new Strategic Research Priorities for its Universities, such as “Maximise Australia’s competitive advantage in selected sectors” or “Lifting economy and economic growth by delivering new skills for the digital world”.

Thus Natalie Forde intended to get an update in the activities an recent research results and opportunities to cooperate with the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre and the actual network of the Centre. Natalie Forde, Dr. Carolin Plewa and Prof. Dr. Thomas Baaken agreed on further collaboration in research and funding projects between the Universities.
